Design SolutionThrough workshops we engaged the client to co-create a new Brand Narrative – a short memorable statement that summarised the brand proposition for customers. We explored this narrative through images, sound and movement to form an understanding of the brand as a person and its key behaviours. These informed the creative work across all elements and applications.
Project OverviewSwisscom is the telecom market leader and one of the most trusted brands in Switzerland. The Swisscom re-brand was part of a process that has seen the company bring their various sub-brands under one Swisscom brand.
The project was won following a competitive pitch in March 2007 and the first stage of guidelines was launched the following year in March 2008. It hasn’t stopped there though, we have developed an excellent working relationship with Swisscom and regularly work with them to execute new brand elements that compliment and push the brand identity forward.
Client BriefOur brief was to create an identity that expressed the vision of the company, which was an increased customer orientation and expansion from telecoms and IT to media and entertainment sectors. For a Swiss market leader (with more than 60% market share), it also had to feel distinctly Swiss.
ImplementationMoving Brands has supported Swisscom to launch the brand both internally in the organization and externally in the market. In order to nurture the new brand in the early phases we worked closely with Swisscom to help implement the new brand across various touch points (print, on-screen, online, mobile, retail/ POS corporate environments), as well as have acted as the ‘brand guardians’ to support other agencies working with the new brand.
