In a spot of research this morning, I stumbled back upon this little gem by Jonathan Barnbrook’s studio. It’s been around quite a while, nominated for a couple of D&AD silvers back in 1995, but every time I watch it, it feels as fresh as ever. It’s quite a simple typographic response to a conversation, but in what feels like a world of vectors and flawless rendering, it’s has a strangely reassuring physicality and notion of craft to it.
