Google Zeitgeist 2010: Year in Review


Really beautiful film from Google, summarising the year that was. Not only does this film capture all that took place in 2010, but also how much of it played out online and across platforms, with Google as the gateway. World events happened, people died, heroes were born and Justin Beiber was Justin Beiber – whatever was going on people wanted their information delivered to them in text, in images, in film, in maps and in an instant, as it happened.

Sure, this film may be tugging at the festive heart strings a bit, making us all feel warm and cuddly towards what is ultimately a search engine, but it none the less moving. Above all, it highlights the power of moving image to convey information, engage an audience and tell stories – something we at Moving Brands have believed in since the beginning.
