Impatient India

Kyroorius Designyatra is one of the world’s biggest annual design conferences. Held in Goa, India, the sold-out event kicked off today and will host an impressive 1300 delegates from all over the world. Speakers including AKQA Founder Ajaz Ahmed, D&AD’s Holly Hall and Umbrellium’s Nitipak ‘Dot’ Samsen (and our own CEO Mat Heinl) will pose the question ‘What If?’ – what if you turned obstacles and risks into opportunities, threw designers out of their comfort zones and broke all convention…

The conference embodies all that is exciting and mind-blowing about India right now. With half the population aged under 24, and over 50 cities with more than a million people living in them, India is dynamic, young and more urban than ever. Long home to big tech businesses such as IBM, India’s  young inventors are choosing to go it alone, with impressive results; this year Forbes lists 5 Indian start ups in their global ‘100 Most Innovative.’ It’s the perfect environment for creativity, technology and business to come together, and that’s something we’re very excited about.

FYI, the Indian companies which are listed in “100 most Innovative” are not start ups. Bajaj, HLL, L&T, TCS…etc are corporate Giants in India.
