100% Open is a newly formed open innovation company agency spun out from NESTA, the UK’s National Endowment of Science, Technology and the Arts. After winning a competitive strategic and creative pitch, we were engaged to develop a ‘go to market’ communications plan as well as a new identity ‘toolkit’ for the agency. We worked with 100% Open to shape their business offer and develop their strategy for communication.
We designed and produced a “mini” identity system which worked as a small business starter kit consisting of a logo, stationery, case studies product identifiers, process diagrams, and product animation. The starter kit allows 100% Open to easily communicate their business offer and simply structure new business presentations.
Based on their business model of bringing different companies and individuals together to create innovation, the new identity communicates their open and collaborative way of working. The rich typographic background merges different colours and shapes, while the logotype plays with the idea of “openness” by juxtaposing two sliced ‘O’s.
