During thirteen years in the business, Moving Brands has been lucky enough to play host to some of design’s best and brightest. Whether these individuals have been freelancers of full-time members of MB, it’s always inspiring to work with an extraordinary community which stretches from London out to creative hubs around the world.
Matt Judge is one of those people – an incredible talent underpinned by an innate kindness. Matt has been cutting a familiar form at Moving Brands for many years now, bringing his calm, considered approach to a broad range of projects. Between Moving Brands, Apple and other leading agencies, Matt ran Design Assembly – one of the few influential blogs on design which was copy-led, rather than visual-led. Matt nurtured a group of contributors, who each offered a unique take on the industry and design thinking.
And so, it was a huge testament to Matt, that when he decided to retire the blog, and create a printed compendium of Design Assembly posts, plus new material written especially for the book, his friends around the world jumped at the opportunity to be involved. Design Assembly 3 launched last week at Wolff Olins with a party which truly reflected the book – filled with good friends, creativity, and generosity of spirit.
