Music video director, Marco Sandeman, recently made this viral in response to the comments posted on his video for Paul McCartney’s ‘222’. Marco concedes that McCartney has his detractors as well as his fans, but was enthralled by some sentiments expressed on YouTube. As a result, he harvested some of the most “indecent, peculiar, random and funny” comments he could find and incorporated them into his film. In Marco’s own words, “YouTube is a brilliant platform that, even now, has yet to realise it’s full creative potential. The breadth of it’s audience, the snapshot it provides of humanity in all its ugliness and beauty, the narrative and self-promotional opportunities it offers – it’s unparalleled!”.
