On February 24, three of Moving Brands’ leading ladies in the San Francisco office attended the inaugural 2015 Lead On Conference for Women by Watermark. Watermark is a community that brings together women in the Bay Area to foster and increase the representation of women leaders in all disciplines and industries. The conference featured wildly successful professional women such as Former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Diane von Furstenberg, and Jill Abramson.
“After a full day of speakers, seminars, and networking, we left feeling inspired, curious, and determined to be innovative inside and outside of the work place,” commented Aki Shelton, Creative Lead of Moving Brands San Francisco. “One of our biggest takeaways and call to action is to nurture an environment for mentorship to thrive, at all levels. We felt strongly that mentorship – both providing and receiving should also be incorporated into one’s own professional development. This event was the perfect opportunity for us to learn and share with other like-minded individuals. We are proud to have taken part in the conversation.”
Moving Brands was fortunate enough to have previously worked with Watermark in creating its new brand – one that would bring life to their positioning as a community of accomplished women and to grow their business objectives, geographically, financially, and in terms of membership.
