The new face of the BBC

The BBC asked us to tell the story of the corporation’s bespoke typeface, its first ever typographic refresh since it was founded in 1922. The result was a short film: ‘Introducing Reith - the New Face of the BBC.

We wanted to capture the challenges of creating a font that would underpin the evolution of the BBC’s visual brand.  The film looks at the process and people behind the project, and what Reith means to those involved in bringing it to life.
